At long last, a class schedule and some new opportunities. There are so many things we want to do that scheduling them is a real challenge.
TREASURE SHOP HOP: This wonderful hop starts April 16th and includes 17 quilt shops from Halfway to McCall, Idaho. You can get the hours and more information at our shop.
Scheduled classes:
Beginning Knitting Classes ($10.00)

Cast on, Knit stitch. Friday, April 17th; 7 pm- 8:30pm.

Purl stitch, Bind off. Friday, April 25th; 7pm-8:30pm
Sock Knitting (on double point needles). Saturdays; May 9, 16, 23

And 31; 12 noon- 1:30pm. You will need to know and be com-

fortable with basic knitting. ($15.00)
Beginning Crochet: ($10.00). Project will be granny square slippers

Using single crochet. Saturday, April 18; 12:00-1:30pm. And

Saturday, April 25th; 12:00-1:30pm.
Introduction to Paper Piecing: ($10.00); Sunday, April 26th, 2-5pm.
Introduction to Serging: ($10.00) Friday; May 8th, 7-9 pm.
Introduction to Machine Sewing: ($10.00); Friday; May 22nd, 7-9pm.
Learn to make a T-Shirt Quilt: ($15.00); Sunday, May 24th, 2-5pm.
MONTHLY OFFERINGS:
First Saturday Sampler; First Saturday of the month beginning May 2nd, 2-4pm. Each month will make two blocks using the technique from “Fast Quilts from Fat Quarters”. This is a fun technique in which 7 coordinating fat quarters are stacked and rotary cut, then arranged in a variety of blocks (you design the blocks after cutting).
Second Saturday Strip Club; A sampler quilt made from 2 ½” strips.

Uses the book “Strip Samplers” by Suzanne McNeill. Begins

May 9th; 2-4pm.
Knitted Block of the Month; Learn a new stitch each month, make a

block and by the end of a year have 12 coordinating blocks for 

an afghan. Third Saturday of the month, 2-4pm, beginning

April 18th.
Crocheted Block of the Month; Same as the knitted bom above but

using crochet. Fourth Saturday of the month, 2-4pm, beginning

April 25th.
FREE DEMOS EVERY SATURDAY:
April 11: learn to do the kitchener stitch (knitting).
April 18: learn to make a yo-yo.
April 25: learn to turn a heel. (sock knitting)
May 2: learn to use a rotary cutter.
May 9: learn to needle felt.
May 16: embellishment techniques.
May 23: yarn sizes and gauges.
May 30: tied, no-sew fleece blankets.
